This comb really gets through thick and long fur- hair, it removed the density of the hair/ fur without causing any discomfort.. it was easy to clean the comb if you couldn't just shake the fur off the comb cover actually doubles up as a cleaner to protect your fingers from the sharp edges ... I did find this seemed to make the length of my babies hair shorter and this wasn't what I wanted I just wanted to removed the density. So just be careful with how much you comb/ brush it as you may find you remove more than wanted easily. The design is good, it's lightweight and easy to use, glides through the hair easily... I even tested in on my shorter hair cat and it didn't remove any fur/ hair so it is obviously designed to know what it is doing

Who would’ve thought such a lil nondescript brush would amaze me so much haha. My cat, Magnus (who I added I picture of just because he’s beautiful) has long, thick hair. He leaves it all around the house and I’ve tried three different brushes so far but none have been effective at all. Magnus has been coughing up excessive amounts of hairballs lately so I decided to try out a new brush. This product amazed me! I started brushing him inside but quickly had to move outside because so much fur was shedding. I’m extremely impressed with this brush and truly feel that my boy will benefit greatly from using this to brush and help him shed his coat. Only other thing to keep in mind is that it is deceptively sharp (as evidence by the Toy Story themed bandaid on my finger 😂) so just be careful not to cut yourself accidentally, and make sure to put the cover back on it when you’re done.

I've used a few different brushes on my short-haired Bombay, Milo, they never really work well and he hates them. This brush, however, is awesome. It removed a decent amount of hair and he actually laid down and let us brush him. It's much easier to clean (just pull the hair off) than some other brushes. This brush is so great that my kid tried it on a friend's fluffy calico. It completely exceeded our expectations. The pictures are of their cat after brushing and how much hair was removed after only a few minutes! (Also included a picture of my boy for cat tax.)

This cat deshedder/undercoat works amazing. My cat Bean hated the two other deshedders, which seemed to work okay, but I didn't notice a huge difference in how much fur he was leaving on my bed on a daily basis. He doesn't mind when I use this one because it's quiet, and the teeth are rounded so they don't scrape his skin. But something about the hooks makes it snag every loose hair, and he looks 2 pounds lighter after this first session. It got so much off him that I filled up the kitchen trash can like a foot. If you drag the rake about a 45° angle with the grain, it works amazing

This is a good product but the handle is straight smooth plastic and comes out of your hand easily. Should have been knurled a little bit.
