I actually REALLY like this. I'm only even docking one star because I feel as though the bits that cover your boobs are genuinely so narrow/shallow (this is on a Large, mind you) that you have to be one of two things to wear this without an additional layer or support underneath. 1. Bonafide IBTC a-cupper -or- 2. an e-girl who does the whole microkini look But that said- I'm definitely just going to rock this with a bandeau or minimalist bralette underneath- BECAUSE IT IS GENUINELY SO CUTE. I also am a hater of polyester, but in this application it really works because the interesting knit of the fabric is very fine and airy, creating this lovely "stretch" that naturally arranges itself over your curves. The polyester allows for this to retain a supportive structure despite being such a comfy loose knit. The back just goes straight across where the top of the "shorts" are, FYI, and for me it settles exactly at my natural waist. I also appreciate that they've done better than most when it comes to matching up the stripes at key seems, namely those straight down the front and straight down the back. (Side seam stripes are very difficult to match because of the nature of pattern design having to adapt to the curves of the human body. Straight seams are more accommodating for matching stripes up.) So quick notes: I am 5'4" but have long legs, am therefore short-waisted (shorter torso), and have high set boobs and an hourglass shape figure. This romper (with the exception of the aforementioned boob coverage issue) fits like it was MADE FOR ME. Another reviewer mentioned it being like snug or tight in the crotch area. For me it is perfect, so I think it's good to consider if your body shape/proportions sound anything like mine. Because if they do you might absolutely LOVE this thing. One last side note: The "white" is really more of an off-white/ecru. But it looks great with the black, like vintage pinup girl style! (It's NOT full-on "natural"/unbleached looking, so it still pops.)
