I love this makeup remover. It effectively removes my makeup without leaving an oily residue like similar products I've tried in the past. It's gentle and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. It does not leave my skin feeling stripped or dry at all. It has a slightly floral scent which I'm surprised I wasn't sensitive to as I generally try to stay away from scented facial products but my skin didn't mind this one. It works great even on my stubborn waterproof mascara, which is a true testament to how good it is. Easy to use with a cotton pad. It may be a tad pricey? But with the size of the bottle and how much makeup wipes already are, this is the better choice in terms of value.

I love micellar water for skin cleansing and makeup removal and The Act is a quality one to purchase. The value cannot be beat for the job this big bottle does. I love the protective attributes and the natural ingredients, but I really love how clean this makes my skin. It does not strip my skin and leaves it feeling fresh and moisturized.

I'm not usually particular about the products I use, but this micellar water has just made me picky about micellar water, because this works so much better than cheaper ones! I was shocked at how quickly and efficiently it cleared my skin of the makeup I was wearing, without having to put in extra effort. The bottle is also a good size, so it has been lasting me awhile.

I assumed that all micellar water is the same, like bottled water, and it’s all just marketing. Until I tried this stuff. It’s somewhat pricey, but it works incredibly well to dissolve makeup even after a long, hot summer day (when my face is super oily and makeup is cakey). The texture of the liquid is noticeably thicker than the Garnier micellar water I always use. The first time, I used just a dash on my fingers, and rubbing all over my face completely dissolved a whole face full of tinted foundation, bronzer, blush, and eyebrow pen. Granted I wasn’t in full drag queen contour mode, but still, I was impressed I didn’t even have to use a single cotton round. It left my face with a slick, hydrating film that didn’t feel dirty, and had me wondering where all the makeup went. Because the makeup had to go somewhere, right? I dunno the chemistry behind it, but it’s wild. According to the instructions, you’re supposed to “optionally rinse with water or wipe off with a cotton pad.” I wasn’t sure if that meant that I could just leave the film on. But I figured that would be crazy (the makeup is still there but just dissolved, I’m assuming?) so I washed it off with lukewarm water. My face was left hydrated as if I had put on a serum or hydrating glycerin toner. After going through the rest of my nighttime face routine, and a full night’s rest, I woke up with my face just as hydrated as normal, no irritation or anything. So it did its job. Bonus points for smelling fairly of roses. It smells as expensive as it is. Well, I know that some micellar water products sell for twice as much, but personally I’m on a budget and prefer to splurge on products that STAY on my face. But this seems to hit a sweet spot in terms of value, since you really don’t have to use much each time. I would actually prefer a shaker style dispenser (like you see with toners) instead of the push-rocker, shampoo style dispenser currently used with the bottle. But it works fine as is. All in all, this is a great find, and I’m really satisfied with this product from both a functional and aesthetic standpoint.
